the longest but not darkest night of the year

Tuesday june 21st 2005
Giant full moon. Solstice, the earth shows to the sun a place over the Cancer Tropic, in the south hemisphere it'll be the shortest day and the longest night of the year. Winter starts in the south hemisphere and the longest night of the year happens. From this moment until december 21st, summer solstice date in the south hemisphere, the earth will be progressively showing to the sun more and more surfaces, while the inhabitants will be receiving each day a little more heat.
